SOLAR PANEL

We power the future by bringing solar energy to computer labs in schools. Our commitment to sustainable and reliable power ensures that every student has a conducive environment for innovation and digital learning.

About the Program

Powering Education with Sustainable Energy

The Project Initiative Ethiopia (PIE) Solar Panel Project is the infrastructure backbone of our mission. In many rural regions of Ethiopia, the lack of a reliable electrical grid is the primary barrier to modernization. Without power, there is no internet; without internet, there is no digital education.

We install high-efficiency solar energy systems directly on school to create self-sustaining "Energy Hubs." These panels provide the clean, consistent power required to run our ICT labs, light up classrooms, and ensure that a student’s geographical location doesn’t limit their access to the world’s information.

Core Pillars of Impact

Energy Independence:

By harnessing the abundant Ethiopian sun, we remove the dependence on an unstable or non-existent power grid.

Fueling the ICT Lab:

Our solar systems are custom-sized to power multiple computer workstations, routers, and peripheral devices simultaneously.

Extended Learning Hours:

Reliable lighting allows schools to stay open later, providing a safe space for evening adult literacy classes and community meetings.

Environmental Stewardship:

We are committed to a "Green Future." By using 100% renewable energy, we teach students the importance of sustainability while protecting the local ecosystem.
